An eye-catching low chignon makes a great prom style that works for either straight or curly medium-length hair. A low chignon is a classic formal style that you are sure to have seen in movies, at weddings, and even at luxurious red carpet events. Put your hair into a low ponytail to get this look. If you want a more sexy look, try securing the low ponytail on the side, just slightly beneath your ear. You could choose to use extensions if you desire to have long, glamorous hair.
Long hair can be fixed a lot of different ways for the prom, yet this can make it much harder to decide. Two popular styles in fashion now are soft down waves and curled updos. Celebrities Nicole Kidman, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie all wear variations on these popular options. Several layers of soft and sensual curls can appear great whether up or down. You can shape your crown into a rock style-star pompadour, and spray and tease the rest to add height and volume. You could try an always classy chignon or a traditional braid. Emina Cunmulaj, Gwenyth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Debra Messing and Christina Aguilera are all perfect models of the straight, sleek style. Some prom attendees who are very bored with the way they look might want to add extra hair, highlight pieces of their hair or shorten their hair.
When considering your prom hairdo, most importantly, plan it way ahead of time and get an appointment. Make sure to schedule your prom hair appointment ahead of time so you won’t be stuck trying to style your own hair at the last minute.
